Lisa's Apple Sage Pork Chops Recipe

Apple Pork Chops


1-1/2 tsp rubbed sage
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp thyme leaves
1/2 tsp allspice (ground)
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
Four or five (4-5) Pork chops, boneless, one inch thick
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, sliced thin
Two or three (2-3) apples, sliced thin
1/2 cup apple juice
1 tbsp brown sugar


Mix flour and all spices in small bowl
Sprinkle pork chops with seasoned flour mix
Cook pork chops in the hot oil until browned
Remove and set aside
Using the drippings, add onion and cook until tender and apples are starting to get tender
Stir in juice and remaining flour mix and sugar until mixed well
Add pork chops back into pan
Bring to boil
Reduce the heat and cook until desired doneness.
Mmmmmmm, its super yummy! My spice measurements are a happy medium. Add more for your taste..
